Warby Parker: Field Series

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

Hello everyone!

I have something very exciting to share with you. Today, I will be talking about Warby Parker and their new sunglasses collection: Field Series. It just launched yesterday so make sure you check them out before they sell out! I am really excited to be working with them about the release of their limited edition collection. Also, at the end of this post, I am going to share with you what I would style these sunglasses with!

So, I have been a fan of Warby Parker for years now. (I have worn glasses ever since I was in the sixth grade). You know that feeling when you see something incredibly cute online but never know if it'll look good on you? Well, that is no problem with this company because they have free home try-ons! This is one of the many things that I have always loved about them. It is really convenient to be able to pick out a couple frames you like, have them shipped to you, and then try them on to see how the fit, feel, and of course how you look in them! Naturally, I am extremely excited about this new collection of sunglasses since the differ from their current styles.

I think that the Field Series is unique because they contain a multilayered construction. The material is crafted from premium cellulose acetate and Japanese titanium. There are three different shapes and builds, and each comes in two different colors with polarized lenses. With these three glasses you would be able to wear them over thousands of different ways because they are so versatile. Whether you're going for an early morning run on the beach or spending the day at Disneyland, these sunglasses will be a perfect choice.

The three different styles are: Reed, Grady, and Bonnie. Each of these has a unique look and feel but I'll tell you guys about each and every one of them.

Up first is Reed. This style features a narrow frame that has a distinctive triple-layer build. It contains layers of titanium that perfectly encases the lens that comes in either Green Spruce or Jet Black Matte. These frames are perfect for that monochromatic look.

The next style they have designed is the Grady. This style contains a dual-layer construction of Jet Silver titanium in front of acetate in either Whiskey Turquoise or Crystal Aqua. What makes these sunglasses a standout is that there are unexpected cutout details along the top brow area!

Last but not least, they have crafted the Bonnie. These are personally my favorite because this is the shape of sunglasses that look best on my face. The Bonnie has a round, oversized frame with a two-layer form in the colors Walnut Tortoise w/ Polished Gold titanium or Grapefruit Soda with Riesling. These are the glasses that you can wear for a casual day out shopping while feeling like a million bucks.

This is how I would style the Bonnie! I am going to show three different looks for morning, afternoon, and evening!

If you're doing yoga in the park with your best gal pals, the Bonnie's would pair perfect with a chill tank top, yoga pants, and a messy bun!

Afternoon coffee run:
If I was meeting up for a coffee date with one of my best friends, I'd pair the Bonnie's with a classy jean skirt, an off the shoulder top and a pair of lace up espadrille platform sandals!

Night out exploring LA:
If you wanna take a sunset pic at the LACMA lights, the perfect outfit to pair the Bonnie's with is a faux suede skirt with a black bodysuit to wear for the top paired with lace up flats! Make sure to add on some statement jewelry to have your pictures really pop.
